2015 – Systemax were engaged for the complete replacement and extension of the incumbent BMS.
Works incorporated monitoring and control of HVAC, window blind control, water and electrical metering, refrigerant and hydraulic alarming, hosted on fully open protocol web based platform.
Automated window blind control in relation to varying lighting lux levels was incorporated as an element of energy management initiatives.
Additional electrical smart metering was added to assist in building profile analysis for ongoing building and tuning with an aim to increase the base building NABERS rating to 4.5 stars.
2017 – Systemax were engaged to substantially extend the base-building BMS to accommodate the tenant fitout works for the Australian Federal Police Queensland Office.
Works involved the monitoring and control of tenant HVAC, including a dedicated tenant chilled water system serving offices, laboratories and server rooms. The BMS also enables and monitors several split system air conditioning units.
High level interfaces were added to monitor UPSs and the generator PLC. A load shed strategy was introduced for mechanical services plant based on the status of mains and generator power.
