Sunshine Coast Airport

Systemax extended the existing BMS lighting control to include the site HVAC for the check in, departure, arrivals and baggage claim areas of the airport. The system control strategy was to run the plant efficiently while maintaining comfortable indoor conditions for the travellers, to achieve this the BMS  included economy and CO2 modes and was integrated to the airport flight scheduling system to include set back of temperature during low occupancy times.

While monitoring the flight time schedule system and the indoor CO2 levels the BMS automatically resets to occupied temperature based on arrival and departure times of aircraft and the CO2 levels monitored in each of the main areas.

Additionally the BMS monitors and records energy consumption of the main plant via smart electrical meters for load V’s occupancy analysis by the airport operations team.

Systemax supports the site with ongoing onsite maintenance and remote Web Based access support.
